This is a pre-solicitation SYNOPSIS for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) found at FAR Part 13, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk Contracting Department intends to solicit - on behalf of the Surface Warfare School Command (SWSC) Norfolk - for Air Conditioning and Refrigeration pipe repairs using SAP in accordance with FAR Part 13. The proposed acquisition will result in a firm-fixed-price (FFP) purchase order with a performance period of on or before 30 September 2023. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code for the proposed acquisition 238220 (Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors), which has a small business size standard of $19.0 million dollars The resultant solicitation will be issued as a 100% small business set-aside (SBSA) using SAP in accordance with FAR Part 13. It is anticipated that the resultant solicitation will be posted no later than close of business on 24 August 2023.
