Remodeling and renovation of a military facility in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the remodel of a military facility.
Project Description / Purpose - The project is intended to repair and renew an existing emergency vehicle carport shelter at Tinker Air Force Base by enclosing the existing shelter and adding on to the existing structure. The project will convert the existing carport shelter to an ambulance station and add additional square footage for storage of 4 emergency vehicles and their medical equipment, as well as working and living space for their staff. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to safely complete the repair/renewal and new construction activities in accordance with the provisions of the Division 1 Specifications of the basic contract. The work is intended to improve the environment of care, provide compliance with regulations/standards, and meet the safety requirements of current ambulance services standards. To facilitate this repair/renovation and new construction, the contractor shall: 1) conduct a site investigation, 2) provide a site investigation report, 3) produce a work plan of the repair/renewal area and for new construction, 4) provide MRR Action. The repair/renewal and new construction shall meet all current codes, regulations, and standards, including Tinker AFB Design and Construction Guidelines. But not limited to please review the specifications for more information. Magnitude of Construction: $5M - $10M
