Sealed bids for construction of the FY 2022 CDBG Proposed Storm Drainage Improvements Any Contractor performing the proposed work must be a licensed contractor by the State of Georgia. Work To Be Done: The Work To Be Done shall consist of furnishing all products and performing all labor necessary to construct the FY 2022 CDBG Proposed Storm Drainage Improvements. In general, construction consists of +/-5,600 linear feet of curb and gutter, +/-140 square yards of concrete driveway aprons, +/- 150 square yards of Class "B" Pavement replacement, +/- 20 square yards of sawcut, remove, and replace existing asphalt, +/- 70 linear feet of 18" RCP storm drainage pipe, drainage structures, and all other appurtenances necessary to complete the project in accordance with the specifications and construction drawings No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for 60 days. Contractor performing the work must be licensed by State of Georgia. Work shall consist of furnishing all products and performing all labor necessary to construct the FY 2022 CDBG Proposed Storm Drainage Improvements. Work will be awarded in one contract with a time of 180 days. Contract is to be funded by Georgia Department of Community Affairs - Community Development Block Grant Program grants. Permits: All necessary permits for this project are expected to be acquired prior to construction with the exception of the Notice of Intent for land disturbance activities No land acquisition is expected to be required for this project. Funding: Any Contract or Contracts awarded under this Advertisement for Bids are expected to be funded by the Georgia Department of Community Affairs - Community Development Block Grant program.
