Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Florence, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The City of Florence is accepting sealed proposals from qualified and licensed firms for construction services for the installation of a paved trail extension, installation of a boardwalk, and landscaping installation. The first portion of the proposed asphalt trail shall be constructed on the existing rail bed using the existing ballast as base with 2" asphalt that is approximately 10' wide and approximately 3,400 linear feet The second portion of the proposed asphalt trail shall be constructed on a compacted subgrade, sand-clay base, with 2" asphalt that is approximately 10' wide and approximately 1650 linear feet. The proposed boardwalk is intended to be 10' in width, will include handrails, and will be a total length of 750 linear feet
