The Work is generally described as follows The project consists of, but is not limited to, the installation of approximately 380 linear feet of 8-inch PVC sanitary sewer main, laterals, and 2 sanitary manholes, all within Foster Township, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. The extent of the Work is described in the Contract Documents, Drawings and Specifications The project consists of the milling and overlaying of asphalt pavement along Buttonwood Lane in Muncy Borough. This project is being supported in part, by federal award number SLFRP2851 awarded to Lycoming County by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. A certified check or bank draft payable to the order of West Branch Regional Authority, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the Bid, shall be submitted with each bid. The Bidder shall include the fully completed Non-Collusion Affidavit with the bid. Bids may be held by the West Branch Regional Authority for up to 60 days from the date of opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the contract. The West Branch Regional Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities, or to negotiate contract amounts. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage applies to this Project. A pre-bid meeting will not be held for this project.
