The City is seeking quotaions for the testing of Backflow Prevention devices at various City owned facilities throughout the City of Battle Creek In accordance with the Administrative Rules under Public Act 399 - promulgated under the Michigan Safe Drinking Water Act (Part 14. Cross-connections R325.11401- R325.11407) and the State Plumbing Code (latest revision). There are approximately 86 devices at 21 various locations. This project is for testing only. Repairs would be separate from this contract and quoted as needed. The term of the contract is expected to be 1 year. In addition to the price quote, the qualified vendor must provide: 1) Masters plumbing license and a ASSE certification. 2) A certificate of general liability insurance showing the City of Battle Creek as an ADDITIONAL INSURED 3) Auto Insurance coverage 4) Workers Compensation Coverage
