Details of the existing well are attached; it is 280 feet deep and produces approximately seven gallons per minute. The contractor shall arrange all necessary permitting, install and develop the well casing in accordance with Department of Water Resources (DWR) regulations, and complete the well at the surface. All drill spoils are to be removed from the site by the contractor. Following the well installation, the existing structure will be demolished; once demolition is complete, the contractor shall return to the site to abandon the existing water well in accordance with DWR regulations. Once blocking has been set for the replacement structure's foundation, the contractor shall rough in the supply lines from the new well to the foundation.
