Description

Site work and new construction of a retail development in Fairbanks, Alaska. Completed plans call for the construction of a retail development; and for site work for a retail development.

You are invited to submit a proposal based on the requirements in the attached solicitation number GNFR-FC-WAN-23-19460. This solicitation is issued by the Army and Air Force Exchange Service which is an instrumentality of the United States Government. The cost of the project is estimated to be in the range between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Please pay particular attention to section 3.A.61.d in the Agreement Document which covers minority and female participation goals established for federally involved and non-federally involved construction work. Any questions you may have after comparing the plans and specifications to the existing site conditions should be submitted in writing to Nikisha Knowlton at knowltonn@aafes.com no later than COB on 09/08/2023. In order for your proposal to be considered, please follow the procedures noted below. SCOPE AND LOCATION OF WORK: Ft. Wainwright, Alaska - Express Image Update. This project will renovate 19,947 SF within the Ft Wainwright Express (Blg 4058). This project will reconfigure interior walls within the Express to allow for the effective use of existing space. Interior finishes will be upgraded to current AAFES standards. Lighting, mechanical, fire suppression and electrical systems will be modified to align with the new layout.
