Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to an office development in Whitehouse, Texas. Completed plans call for the addition of a office development; for the demolition of a office development; for the renovation of a office development; and for site work for a office development.

Each Proposal submitted shall be accompanied by a cashier's check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the estimated construction costs, payable without recourse to the City of Whitehouse, or a Bid Bond (Exhibit B) in the same amount from a properly licensed commercial surety company as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the Proposer will execute a Constructon Agreement with the City, including all required bonds and other documents. The successful firm shall furnish a Maintenance Bond in the amount of one-hundred percent (100%) of the contract sum covering defect of material and workmanship for two (2) calendar years following the City's approval and acceptance of the constriction. An approved surety company, licensed in the state of Texas, shall issue all bonds in accordance with Texas law. Responders may request clarifications or interpretation of Proposal Documents. Any such request must be submitted in writing to: Leslie Black at the following email address: lblack@whitehousetx.org by April 27th, 2023, 5:00 p.m. CST. No questions will be answered over the phone. Questions will only be accepted until the stated deadline. The budgeted Construction Only Cost (COC) for the facility inclusive of sitework, parking, landscaping and irrigation is estimated to be approximately $4,880,000.00 (dollars). The work may consist of, but is not necessarily limited to, one or more of the following: demolition, site clearing, excavation, underground storm drainage, fill, select fill and backfill, site utilities, concrete sidewalks, curbs and gutters, asphalt and concrete paving, rough and finish grading topsoil and seeding, concrete slab on grade or structural slab; stone exterior veneer, aluminum curtainwall, structural steel frame (columns and joists), glulam framing, metal roof deck, miscellaneous metals and metal fabrications; rough and finish carpentry, millwork and casework; dampproofing and waterproofing, caulking and sealants, thermal insulation, flashing and sheet metal, single ply membrane roofing, standing seam metal roofing, solid core wood doors and frames,metal doors and frames, aluminum doors and frames, prefinished aluminum door frames, glass and glazing, architectural hardware, moveable partitions, accoustical ceilings, resilient/vinyl flooring and base, carpet tile and broadloom carpet, metal studs and support systems, gypsum drywall, painting and special coatings, interior and exterior signage; metal louvers and miscellaneous specialities; fire protection; lightning protection; mechancial, plumbing and electrical systems and other systems and construction as required.
