New Hanover County is accepting sealed bids for the following project: Mason Inlet Maintenance Project 2023-2024 The work includes hydraulic dredging of approximately 524,500 cubic yards of shoaled material from Mason Inlet, Mason Creek, and the AIWW, with subsequent placement on the southern beachfront of Figure 8 Island. The work also consists of grading the beach and monitoring environmental concerns. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check, U.S. Postal Money Order, or Bid Bond in an amount not less than 5% of Bid.
