The proposed contract requires the maintenance and upgrade of bridge K1573 on Blais South FSR in the Seymour operating area in the Okanagan-Columbia Business Area. The contract will require a range of qualified professionals and technical staff working in various conditions including isolated areas. Activities will include site monitoring by a contractor supplied Environmental Monitor, removing and replacing the bridge decking/superstructure, repairing and installing new abutments/substructure, hauling and installing rip rap, and rebuilding approaches. Minor maintenance on the 1100/Seymour FSR and Blais South FSR will be required for industrial use – maintenance work is scheduled for August 2023 but may be impacted by the Bush Creek East wildfire.
