Demolition, site work and renovation of a residential development in Gillam, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; for the renovation of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
Manitoba Hydro owns and operates over 360 residential units and several commercial and light industrial properties located in and around the Town of Gillam, Manitoba. As infrastructure ages and business requirements change, Manitoba Hydro is regularly renovating, expanding or building new structures at various locations. Accordingly, Manitoba Hydro has identified the need to engage qualified Contractors to perform required remediation, testing and repair services on four (4) houses. The Work includes the Gillam housing interior renovation of 4 single dwelling homes. This consists of, non-exclusive, repairs to basement water infiltration system and home interior renovation. This includes demolition of basement exterior walls, removal of double vapor system, flooring and any other components that have water damage. Provide mold testing and remediate, if required. Installation of new water proofing and Spray foam in basement wall system, new flooring and baseboard. Main floor to have new countertops, flooring and trim installed. Patch, prime and paint doors and paint interior of house.
