REQUIREMENTS: a. BACKGROUND: 126th Air Refueling Wing aircraft apron contains the authorized aircraft for the Air National Guard on Scott Air Force Base. It is northwest of building 5026 (5780 Pryor Drive). b. OBJECTIVES: This project will re-stripe the existing apron & taxiway markings on the 126ARW Apron and taxiways as listed in this and shown in the . There are a fewareas that require arrows, warning markings and informational wording. Lot markings to be re-painted in this include any existing painted markings such as stripes, aircraft parking markings, equipment locations etc. no matter howfaded. 2. PROJECT SUMMARY: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, vehicles, equipment, tools, supervision, and administration required to and conduct the following work: a. BASE (CLIN 001): Apron Striping and Markings: i. Taxiway & Taxi Lane Centerline Stripe - Mark the centerline of all taxiways, guidelines on runways, and taxi lanes on aprons as well as parking positions and pads, with the appropriate airfield striping pattern and color according to the UFC. ii. Taxiway and Apron Edge Stripes - When there is little contrast between the fullstrength taxiway or apron boundary and the adjacent paved shoulder or other paved area, mark the edge of the usable pavement with two continuous 6-inch (152-millimeter) -wide retro-reflective yellowstripes separated by a 6-inch (152- millimeter) -wide gap. iii. Taxi lane Edge Stripes (baseline) - This marking consists of two 6-inch (152- millimeter) -wide broken stripes separated by a 6-inch (152-millimeter) -wide gap. The stripes are 15 feet (4.6 meters) long with gaps of 25 feet (7.6 meters). iv. ECP and Restricted Area Lines - Contractor shall mark all restricted area lines and Entry Control Points (ECP) IAW UFC 3-260-04, 6-5.10 and Figure 6-17. *The for this project is based on a financial range.
