Construction of various components for water system improvement - Installing new fire hydrant assemblies - Installing replacement water services - Constructing a replacement 6 x 2 Pressure Reducing Station in concrete vault - Construction dewatering - Relocating existing utilities (as required) - Abandoning asbestos cement pipe - Restoring surface conditions, including asphalt trench patching and concrete curbs, gutters, and sidewalks - Performing traffic control - Other work as required The City of Bellevue reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities and informalities in the bidding process. Work contemplated to be performed under this contract is as follows: o Constructing approximately 10,300LF of ductile iron water mains o Installing new fire hydrant assemblies, o Installing replacement water services, o Constructing a replacement 6" x 2" Pressure Reducing Station in concrete vault, o Construction dewatering, o Relocating existing utilities (as required), o Abandoning asbestos cement pipe, o Restoring surface conditions, including asphalt trench patching and concrete curbs, gutters, and sidewalks, o Performing traffic control, o Other work as required to complete the project. BID BOND REQUIRED: Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the form of cash, certified check, cashier's check or surety bond in an amount equal to at least 5% of the amount of such bid. The City reserves the right to modify or not modify the supplemental criteria in its discretion.
