Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) is soliciting proposals from qualified agencies for the Chestnut Hill East Bridge Rehab Program project. The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) is requesting design proposals from qualified and interested firms experienced in Architectural and Engineering design services to produce bridge rehabilitation and reconstruction designs for several bridges along the Regional Railroad's Chestnut Hill East line. The design firm shall produce a complete biddable construction package which will bring these bridges (listed within the RFP document) into a state of good repair. The design team shall provide construction documents that will minimally affect SEPTA's customers, the public, and adjacent properties SEPTA, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 253, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4, and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, SubTitle A, Office of the Secretary, Department of Transportation, in Federally Assisted Programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all proposers that it will affirmatively, insure that in regard to any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit proposals in response to this invitation, and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, sex, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
