Renovation of a fire / police facility in Sacramento, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
The Property Warehouse is sitting near 95% capacity, and the time dedicated to reviewing, clearing, and purging cases cannot keep up with the volume of new evidence booked into the warehouse daily. To significantly reduce inventory levels using current methods would take several years and additional full-time staff dedicated to the process. We are looking for a location to safely store approximately 15 to 30 percent of our current evidence inventory. There will be a minimum of 7,500 cubic feet to a maximum of 15,000 cubic feet of evidentiary inventory packed and stored. Clearing out 15 to 30 percent of our inventory will allow us to break down sections and replace them with mobile shelving units. The mobile shelving units can hold more significant amounts of property, enabling us to organize our inventory much more efficiently.
