The City accepts no responsibility if delivery is made to another electronic mail address or other technological issues that cause a submittal to be late or not received by the deadline. An evaluation team will review submitted proposals and select the best proposal based on the evaluation criteria outlined in the RFP. The selected consultant will then be recommended to the City Council for entering into a contractual agreement for services. The City is seeking proposals from engineering consultant firms to provide WQCF sludge thickener and dewatering unit no.3 system designs on behalf of the City. The following summary of the scope of services is not inclusive and is only intended to be used as an indication of the minimum services to be provided. The City's expectation is that the scope of services for this Project shall include all work necessary for the completion of the Project with no future amendments required to the contract. The consultant's scope of services for this Project shall include, but not be limited to, the following: o The consultant shall review and evaluate the documents related to this Project in detail. See Appendix. o The consultant shall evaluate the existing system and provide recommendations for addressing the increased solids o The consultant should provide review of alternative technologies compared to what is currently existing. o The consultant shall visit the WQCF and meet with staff to become familiar with the sludge thickener and dewatering equipment identified for improvement in this RFP, understand their operations, constraints, deficiencies and the O&M issues. The consultant can schedule the kickoff meeting and site visit concurrently. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
