Project Description: This project consists of the demolition of the existing Warehouse / Administration Building and reclamation of the site including the following scope of work items: earthwork, cast-in-place concrete, fencing, underground utilities capping and modifications to systems for water, sewer, electrical, phone, fire alarm, security cameras, IT systems. Bidding questions shall be submitted electronically by 1:00 p.m. MT on March 15, 2024. All questions will be answered and provided to all prospective bidders via answers electronically or in the form of a written addendum posted electronically by 1:00 p.m. MT on March 21, 2024. Questions received after 1:00 p.m. Mountain Time on March 15, 2024, will not be addressed. If a bid is greater than $150,000, each bid is required to have a bid deposit in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the total bid, which shall be in the form of a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check (a copy of a check will not be accepted) drawn on a reliable bank and made payable to the State of Wyoming (no personal checks will be accepted), or an electronic bid bond with Surety 2000. ONLY if you are submitting an original 10% bid bond or submitting a 10% cashier check, it MUST be received in the Procurement Office at: Wyoming State Construction Department, Procurement Office, 700 West 21st Street, Cheyenne, Wyoming 82002, by 1:00 p.m. March 28, 2024. A COPY OF THE 10% CASHIER CHECK WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. If you are using Surety 2000, you will need to upload with your bid response documents a copy of the Surety 2000 document. When the bid is equal to or above $150,000.00 the successful bidder must make a good faith attempt, within twenty (20) calendar days after notification of the award, to deliver to the Procuring Agency an executed Bidder's Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of at least equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the accepted bid as security for the faithful performance of the contract. If bidder does not provide the Performance and Payment bond, the Procuring Agency may move forward with next lowest responsible bidder
