WEST VALLEY SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 208, 8902 Zier Rd, Yakima, WA 98908, is requesting statements of qualification forArchitectural, Engineering, and Professional Design Services for the Mise. District Improvement Projects. The selected firm or firms is expected to provide design and related services including but not limited to planning, budgeting, permit expediting, delivery and procurement strategies, public communication, OSPI documentation, bidding, contracting, construction phase, FF&E procurement, closeout, warranty phase, and post occupancy surveys. The selected design firm(s) will be expected to work closely with WVSD staff and its Program Manager (PM) to plan and execute projects using bond savings from the primary scopes of work associated with the February 2019 bond. The projects included as part of this procurement may include: A. Stadium Improvements - Improvements to the existing high school stadium, including but is not limited to replacement of field surfacing, replacement of the running track, and improvements to the bleachers and press box. B. Single Use Restrooms - Conversion of some of the existing restrooms within the District to gender neutral facilities. C. Parking Lot Projects D. HVAC Upgrades E. Middle Level Campus Upgrades F. Roof Replacements at Multiple sites G. ADA Upgrades The completed facilities will conform to the West Valley School District's Educational Specifications and Best Practices Manual design standards. WVSD intends to utilize the Design, Bid, Build (DBB) procurement method but is willing to consider General Contractor/Construction Manager (GC/CM) alternative project delivery. The District may hire a single design firm for the projects or multiple firms as a result of this RFQ. Any firm failing to submit its response in accordance with the procedures set forth in this RFQ may be considered non-responsive.
