***The Saline County Board of Commissioners will be reviewing all submitted bids and awarding this project at their next meeting on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at which time the official bid tabulation will also be released. The sealed bids are to be sent or submitted to the Clerk of Saline County, Saline County Courthouse, 204 South High Street, Wilber NE 68465. The work shall include all labor, materials, transportation, and equipment required for the construction of: Sta. 22+30 Build Quadruple 14' x 12' x 48' Concrete Box Culvert on 30 Skew (RHB) Special Plan No. 1 Proposals must be signed and submitted on the forms furnished with the Bid Documents. PLEASE ONLY SUBMIT DIVISION 5. Each bidder will be required to submit with his proposal a Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable, without condition, to the County Treasurer of Saline County, Nebraska, in an amount equal to five (5) percent of their proposal. The bidder to whom the contract is awarded shall furnish within ten (10) days after the award a surety bond or bonds in a sum equal to the full amount of the contract. The form of the bonds and surety shall be acceptable to the Saline County Board of Commissioners. The bidder will include an estimated time of beginning and completion for the project with the proposal. The Contractor will be allowed 60 calendar days for completion of the work. The required completion date of the project is June 28, 2024. The Saline Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to pass upon the regularity, and to waive any irregularities. Awarding of the Contract will be in accordance with the provisions of "Competitive Bidding; Consideration", COUNTY PURCHASING ACT, N.R.S. Sections 23-3101 through 23-3114, any competitive bidding requirements of Nebraska Statutes 16-321, et. seq. The Saline County Board of Commissioners will, at their discretion, award the contract based on the lowest or best bid.
