Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Warrenville, Illinois. Design plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The City is soliciting qualifications for construction engineering services for the Mack Road Bridge and Path project on Mack Road from Route 59 east to the DuPage Forest Preserve District of DuPage County's (FPDDC) McKee Marsh parking lot. The project consists of a bridge replacement, road reconstruction to raise the profile due to flooding, and a multi-use path on the north side of Mack Road. The total estimated construction cost for this project is $5,200,000. This is a STP funded project for construction and construction engineering. The selected firm will have extensive experience in similar projects, familiarization with IDOT construction procedures and invoicing, and working with multi-jurisdictional agencies. As of July 23, 2024, final Engineering and Land Acquisition is ongoing. Construction bid letting is anticipated to be January 2025 by IDOT. Construction is anticipated to begin in 2025 or 2026. An Engineering team has been identified.
