Question Deadline 06/28/2024 at 5:00 PM ET During the advertisement phase of this project all questions shall be addressed solely to the MPM. . Questions received after this time may not be answered. Any revisions, addendums and answers to questions received by the due date for questions will be sent to bidders who received this Invitation via email. In addition, revisions will be posted on the City's RFP web page http://burlingtonvt.gov/RFP/. On Queen City Park Road where it crosses over the Vermont Railways, Inc. (VTR) tracks and on VT Route 127 (the "Beltline") where it crosses over the New England Central Railroad tracks within the City of Burlington, Vermont. This contract is subject to the Burlington Pre-Qualification of Construction Contractors, the Burlington Livable Wage Ordinance, the Burlington Union Deterrence Ordinance, and the Burlington Outsourcing Ordinance. No bid will be accepted without signed certificates of compliance with listed ordinances and a filled out Pre-Qualification of Construction Contractors Application. The Contractor is hereby notified that approval of the Right-of-Entry to NECR's right-of-way on VT Route 127 is currently pending. It is expected that the Right-of-Entry will be approved by August, 2024 and the project will be built as shown in the Contract. If the issuance of the Right-of-Entry permit requires work to be added to the Contract, the work will be reimbursed to the Contractor as Extra Work per Subsection 109.06 Each BID must be accompanied by a certified check payable to the City of Burlington for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the BID. A BID bond may be used in lieu of a certified check. APPROXIMATELY 0.5 MILES WEST OF THE INTERSECTION OF VT RTE. 7 (SHELBURNE ROAD) AND QUEEN CITY PARK ROAD OVER THE VERMONT RAILWAY. THIS PROJECT INVOLVES CONCRETE PATCHING IN AREAS OF THE EXISTING BRIDGE DECK AND RELATED RAILING WORK The scope of the work consists of removing and replacing portions of the QCPR bridge rail, all the QCPR approach rail, and modifications to the QCPR crash rail. Along with the removal and replacement of the VT Route 127 bridge and approach rail including the bridge rail posts.
