Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Chesapeake, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Intersection improvements at Great Bridge Boulevard and Battlefield Boulevard, which include improvements to the southwest quadrant for a second eastbound Great Bridge Boulevard through lane and a new yield-controlled right turn lane onto Battlefield Boulevard with a raised channelizing island. The project will also include pavement markings, traffic signing, traffic signal modifications, curb and gutter, driveway, and drainage improvements along the corridor. This project is included in the city’s 2024-2028 Capital Improvement Plan. As of March 20, 2024, project has no further funding. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
