Any contract entered into pursuant to this notice will incorporate the provisions of the State Labor Code. Compliance with the prevailing rates of wages and apprenticeships employment standards established by the State Director of Industrial Relations and the Federal government will be required. The project shall consist of all labor, materials, equipment and supervision; and performing all work necessary to repair 6-inch in diameter and about 570- feet in length of sewer main pipe in the City of Alhambra. The City will deduct five percent (5%) retention from all progress payments. Bids must be prepared on the approved Proposal forms in conformance with the Instructions to Bidders and submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked on the outside. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond, made payable to the City of Alhambra for an amount no less than ten (10) percent of the amount bid. The Contractor Shall Complete the Work With in Forty-five (45) Calender Days of the Effective Date of Citys Notice to Proceed With Construction. Pre-Bid inquires shall be received in written form via email by the City contact no later than 4:00 P.M. on September 12, 2023. No questions received after this date shall be considered.
