BRIDGE 3034N MILE 43.59 - Approximately 70,400 sf of Paint and Approximately 25,700 sf of Concrete Coating. All work under this contract shall be completed by June 30th, 2024. This project is located on the West Virginia Turnpike and consists of fully repainting the steelwork, coating all substructure units and the exterior face of the parapet walls including overhangs for Bridge 3034N. There is approximately 70,400 square feet of steelwork to be painted and approximately 25,700 square feet of concrete to be coated. Prospective bidders must be prequalified in accordance with SECTION 102.1 of the WVDOH Standard Specifications. Proposals must be made via Bid Express in the manner designated in the specifications, and must be accompanied by a CASHIER'S or CERTIFIED CHECK or BID BOND in favor of the West Virginia Parkways Authority, FOR AN AMOUNT EQUAL TO FIVE PERCENT (5%) OF THE AMOUNT OF THE PROPOSAL OR $2,000 WHICHEVER IS THE GREATER, and must be delivered to the office of the West Virginia Parkways Authority, Administration Building, 3310 Piedmont Road, Charleston, West Virginia 25306 on or before the day and hour named. Bid bonds may instead be submitted electronically via Bid Express.
