Notice is hereby given that the City of Arcadia is accepting bids for the purchase of various HVAC filters on an as needed basis. Companies mailing or shipping their bids must allow sufficient delivery time to ensure timely receipt of their proposals by the specified time. Bids received after the deadline will not be considered. Postmarks and submissions by fax or other electronic media will not be accepted under any circumstances. The City is seeking a qualified vendor to supply approximately 219 pleated HVAC filters of various sizes on an as needed basis. All HVAC filters are required to provide a Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value (MERV) rating of 10 or higher. HVAC filters are anticipated to be ordered monthly on an as needed basis. Vendor must deliver HVAC filters upon request from the General Services Superintendent. All businesses doing work in the City of Arcadia should verify with the License Office if they are required to be registered for and pay the Arcadia Business Tax fees. The City of Arcadia reserves the right to accept in whole or part or reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities in the bid process, and all bids are binding for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening and may be retained by the City for examination and comparison, as specified in the quotation request documents.
