The scope of work includes the of the new construction of the joined Police and Fire public safety complex building and grounds. The building will be a two story, 50,000 square foot, steel framed facility with masonry facades, and slab on grade construction. The scope will include all site improvements and development. The scope may also include a separate facility for equipment storage and training on site. Refer to the schedule of Alternates. This check to be property of said City if the Bidder fails to execute the contract, all other required documents, provide all certificates, and satisfactory bond within ten (10) days after the contract may have been awarded to him. A 100% payment and 100% performance bond in the amount of the contract, with satisfactory surety, for faithfully doing the work will be required.
