Plans call to construct the Exeter Borough Sanitary and Storm Sewer Rehabilitation Project along Wyoming Avenue and Schooley Avenue. The plan proposes replacement of storm and sanitary sewers on Wyoming Avenue (SR 0011) from the West Pittston border near Erie Street to approximately 500 feet south of Barber Street. The Project will also include a combination of existing line rehabilitation and replacement, and construction of new lines on Schooley Avenue (SR 1025) from Cedar Street to the Wyoming Valley Sanitary Authority pump station east of Susquehanna Avenue. The project will provide for the replacement of deteriorated lines throughout the specific project area and will result in the separation of certain existing combined sewers. As of September 1, 2023, the project is currently in the design phase. The final construction document completion timeline has not been released. A tentative bid schedule for contractors is scheduled for September 2023; however, the firm date has not been identified. The construction timeline has not been established.
