Demolition, site work and new construction of a civil project in Medford, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; for the demolition of a water / sewer project; and for the construction of a water / sewer project.

The work included under this contract generally consists of demolition of the existing Well #7 Well House, construction of a new Well House, and general site work. The work includes, but is not limited to the following items, as shown on the Plans and discussed in detail in Division 16, Section 2 of these Specifications 1. Demolition of existing well building, slab, footing, fencing, piping, equipment, and appurtenances. 2. Construction of new Well Building, complete with all associated building structural, mechanical, and electrical work. 3. Supply and installation of a new well pump. 4. Supply and installation of new chemical feed equipment. 5. Site work, including grading, drainage, sidewalk, stone drive, fencing, and yard piping. The proposed work generally includes the demolition of the existing Well House, the reconstruction of the Well House, general site work, and the supply and installation of a new well pump, valves, piping, and chemical feed equipment, as well as all associated electrical work and all related equipment and appurtenances. Each bid must be accompanied by (i) all documents listed on the Bid Document Submission Checklist, as applicable, and (ii) a bid guarantee in an amount not less than Ten Percent (10%) of the total bid price as established in the Bid, not to exceed Twenty Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents ($20,000.00). The bid guarantee must be in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check, must be drawn to the order of the Township of Medford and must be delivered simultaneous with the sealed bid. The Township of Medford reserves the right to reject all bids to waive minor informalities and/or non-material exceptions in any bid should it be in the interest of the Township of Medford to do so. Further, the Township of Medford shall reject any bid that contains material nonconformities or conditions, or which is materially nonresponsive. Township of Medford does not reject all bids as permitted under N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2, in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-4, and other applicable laws, the Project will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder
