Site work for a water / sewer project in Medford, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project generally includes: the replacement of approximately 1,000 linear feet of existing 4-inch asbestos cement pipe (ACP) under Lakewood Avenue in Medford, New Jersey with new 6-inch cement lined ductile iron pipe (CLDIP). In addition, the project includes three alternate bids. Alternate Bid #1 includes the replacement of approximately 500 linear feet of 6-inch cast iron pipe with 6-inch CLDIP under Cedar Street in Medford. Alternate Bid #2 includes the installation of approximately 300 linear feet of 6- inch CLDIP and the abandonment of existing 4-inch ACP on Walnut Road, which intersects Lakewood Avenue. Alternate Bid #3 includes the installation of approximately 750 linear feet of 8-inch CLDIP under Taunton Forge Elementary Schools access road. Each bid must be accompanied by (i) all documents listed on the Bid Document Submission Checklist, as applicable, and (ii) a bid guarantee in an amount not less than Ten Percent (10%) of the total bid price as established in the Bid, not to exceed Twenty Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents ($20,000.00). The bid guarantee must be in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashiers check, must be drawn to the order of Medford Township Utilities Division and must be delivered simultaneous with the sealed bid.
