All new lighting will match current standards (see Appendix "B", attached). All lights shall be on photocells and/or shorting caps. Wires may need to be pulled, this work should be expected, and costs to pull wire are to be included by Bidders in the additive bid section. The Base Bid and Additive Bid will include the costs for labor, materials, necessary tools and machinery, supervision, and support. Project Description: The City of El Monte has nearly 5,000 streetlights. Of those, 4,121 lights are coded as LS-1 or are owned and maintained by Southern California Edison and are not subject to this bid. The remaining roughly 700+ streetlights are coded as LS-2/LS-3 and are owned and maintained by the City of El Monte. City owned and maintained streetlights are present throughout the City but primarily concentrated on the following major thoroughfares: Santa Anita Avenue, Ramona Boulevard, Garvey Avenue, and Valley Boulevard.
