The Town of Nantucket is seeking proposals for the purchase of 3 town owned lots on Waitt Drive. The intent is for the development of affordable housing on the lots, with the expectation that the lots will be included on the Subsidized Housing Inventory Listing (SHI). The Town of Nantucket reserves the right to cancel the disposal or sale of any particular parcel at any time in this request , whether prior to the response opening date, during the evaluation period, or after choosing the Successful Proposer, until a purchase and sale agreement between the AHTF and the Successful Proposer has been signed by all parties and delivered The Town of Nantucket (hereinafter Town) acting through its Town Administration Office invites qualified responders to submit proposals for the acquisition and continued management for affordable housing purposes of properties currently owned by the Town of Nantucket. Written responses will be posted to the Town of Nantucket The properties are currently assessed by the Town of Nantucket at $889,200 The Town of Nantucket is seeking the most favorable proposal and the Town of Nantucket reserves the right to reject all proposals. The minimum bid for 5 Waitt Drive is $889,200, for 7 Waitt Drive the minimum bid is $889,200 and for 9 Waitt Drive the minimum bid is $889,200. The minimum bid can be met through the granting of an affordability restriction limiting the units to 80% of AMI in perpetuity. If the successful proposer has a contract with a broker any broker fees as a result of this transaction will be the sole responsibility of the buyer. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
