Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Preston, Idaho. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

As of November 10, 2023, project was awarded to LeGrand Johnson's, awarded amount is $388,158.75. This project will consist of grading, installing catch basins, pipe, and paving the Craner Field parking lot in Preston, Idaho. 1. The Contractor shall remove 4" of material below bottom of asphalt. 2. The Contractor shall install 4" of road base. 3. The Contractor shall install ribbon curb per plans. 4. The Contractor shall install (4) catch basins with 12" ADS corrugated pipe. 5. The Contractor shall place 3" of asphalt. It is the intent of these documents to describe the work required to complete this project in sufficient detail to secure comparable bids. All parts or work not specifically mentioned which are necessary in order to provide a complete installation shall be included in the bid and shall conform to all Local, State and Federal requirements. Project construction shall begin no sooner than October 16, 2023. Project construction shall be completed by November 10, 2023. In determining the lowest responsive bid, the Owner will consider all acceptable bids on a basis consistent with the bid package. The Owner will also consider whether the bidder is a responsible bidder. All bids must be signed and accompanied by evidence of authority to sign. The bid shall include a certified check, bank check or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the amount of the bid proposal. Said bid security shall be forfeited to Preston City Corporation as liquidated damages should the successful bidder fail to enter into contract in accordance with their proposal as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. Pursuant to Idaho Code, a contractor must have the appropriate State of Idaho Public Works Contractor License at or prior to the award of the contract. Davis Bacon Wage Rates will not be applicable to this project. Preston City Corporation reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received, award all or any portion of the work depending on bid cost, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageousto the best interest of Preston City Corporation.
