The Ministry of Forests, Cascades Natural Resource District, is hereby inviting qualified tree planting contractors to submit a sealed tender for 2024 Tree Planting and Associated Danger Tree Assessment & Falling Contract # PL25DCS100 occurring in the Merritt and Lillooet Timber Supply Areas (TSAs) in accordance with the specifications and terms of the contract tender package. Year 1 of the contract in 2024 is for approximately 1,100,000 (one million one hundred thousand) trees on approximately 700 hectares. The tree volume may have minor variations. Below is a description of the approximate location: McKay Creek Fire--West Pavilion Road up to approximately 65km. North of Lillooet, BC., approximately 742,500 trees, approximately 440.0 ha Lytton Fire/Sackum Creek and Nicomen. Northeast of Lytton, BC., approximately 357,500 trees, approximately 260.0 ha The term of the contract will be from April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025. Question Deadline: 09/26/2023 at 3:00 PM PT. Ministry reserves the right to renew but is under no obligation to renew the contract for another term, up to a total maximum of 3 years, subject to funding and satisfactory performance of the Bidder.
