Reference number : 1758405 Deadline for receiving complaints: 2023-09-14 Submission sent electronically accepted: No The Quebec Union for the Rehabilitation of Birds of Prey (UQROP) is asking for bids for the construction of its new interpretation center which will be located on its Chouette a voir site! at 875 row Salvail in Saint-Jude (Quebec) J0H 1P0. UQROP is a charitable organization whose mission is the conservation of birds of prey and their natural habitat. It has two mandates: the rehabilitation of birds of prey across the province of Quebec and public education. She owns 22 hectares of land in Saint-Jude where she operates the site Chouette a voir! UQROP wants to build a building to receive the public all year round. The new interpretation center will be a 1,600 m2 building on two levels. The structure is made of exposed glued laminated wood. In addition, particular attention was paid to the energy efficiency of the building envelope, which will make it one of the most energy efficient buildings in Quebec. The site of the new building represents a challenge since the water table is very high: the water will be controlled thanks to the various basins and ditches.
