The City of Newport Beach ("City") is seeking proposals from qualified firms that are interested in providing services that include the proper collection, handling, transport and disposal of asbestos cement (AC) pipe and valves from the City's Utilities Department Yard location to a certified disposal facility, by a certified and licensed AC hauler. The selected vendor must also be a certified and licensed hauler to perform the collection, handling, transport, and disposal services for universal (U-waste), Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) and electronic waste (E-waste) items. The objective of this Request for Proposals ("RFP") solicitation is to identify the highest-qualified proposer to provide these services over the course of a proposed three (3) year contract term, with option to extend for two (2) additional one (1) year terms. Final contract terms, including compensation and length of the agreement are subject to final City and/or City Council approval.
