Components are predominantly steel, stainless steel or cast iron and can range from complex pins weighing a few pounds, to large fabrications, many feet in length, weight, height or diameter and weighing thousands of pounds. The required services are split into three Service Categories which can be found in the General Requirements, the exact scope of which shall be specified in a Service Release Order (SRO). The Work includes the provision of Shop Fabrication/Machining and/or Field Machining services for its fleet of hydraulic turbines and generators on an as and when required basis. Components are predominantly steel, stainless steel or cast iron and can range from complex pins weighing a few pounds, to large fabrications, many feet in length, weight, height or diameter and weighing thousands of pounds.
