Renovation of a mixed-use development in Nisku, Alberta. Design plans call for the renovation of a 46,750-square-foot, five-story above grade municipal facility; and office development.
Leduc County is looking to complete a restacking analysis and renovation design that focuses mainly on the 2nd floor of County Centre that is more efficient in its use of space and staff allocation. Currently, Leduc County houses a large portion of staff within the three buildings located in Nisku at the corner of 11th avenue and 5th street. County Centre is a 5-storey building and the Services building next to it is two stories. Both facilities are co-shared with Black Gold school division with each having about 50% of the space. The third building is our Community and Operations Centre, which is solely owned and operated by Leduc County. The County Centre building is approx. 46,750 sq ft. TIMELINE: Designs are ongoing. Project has been deferred for a couple of years. Tender will proceed pending owner's capital budget scheduling. *Budget is unreleased.
