Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Whistler, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) is requesting quotations from excavation contractors to rebuild the existing rock retaining wall at the Rainbow Trail Parking Lot. The Contractor shall provide all excavation services to deconstruct the existing rock stack retaining wall to sufficiently rebuild the wall using the existing rocks as per the geotechnical design 1. Provide all asphalt cuts, removal and disposal 2. Provide all common excavation of subgrade 3. Provide removal of all rocks in the rebuild area 4. Supply, install, compact new base gravels for the wall 5. Reuse all suitable backfill and compact 6. Supply and install all drainage pipe, drain rock, geogrid as specified in the drawings 7. Reconstruct the rock wall with existing rocks as specified in the drawings 8. Asphalt repair and fencing replacement are not in scope and will be completed by RMOW
