The pre-bid site visit has been scheduled for 11/15/2023 at 11:00AM PST. Upon arrival all participants shall meet your POC Mark Rodgers (or designee) at Building 10 to complete a sign in sheet and a brief discussion on the work to be performed. Location can be found in the solicitation. A campus map is attached. The project is in Building 57 on the Roseburg VAMC campus. This project includes repainting interior spaces, replacing flooring, and ceiling tiles. Adding a female locker room/shower and adding a shower in the male restroom. The Contractor will provide all labor, materials and equipment for the demolition and construction needed to complete this project. All work will meet SOW, drawings, and specification requirements as well as any applicable manufacturer's recommended installation procedures. Portions of the building will remain occupied during construction. The renovation includes the following, as well as all work in the specifications and drawings: Demolition of existing flooring material Installation of new flooring throughout the space. Installation of new paint on the walls and ceiling throughout the space Renovating the existing restroom to add a shower. Renovating the existing housekeeping closet into a female restroom/locker room with shower. Questions must be submitted by 1600 PST 11/27/2023 to meredith.valentine@va.gov. Any question answered by other than an RFP providing and answer to all interested parties has no bearing on this RFP. The Contractor shall be required to (a) commence work under this contract within 10 calendar after the date the Contractor receives the notice to proceed, (b) prosecute the work diligently, and (c) complete the entire work ready for use not later than 120 after receipt of notice to proceed. The time stated for completion shall include final cleanup of the premises.
