Bid opening will occur immediately after the bid submittal deadline. The time of receiving and opening bids may be postponed due to emergencies or unforeseen conditions. The project consists of repairs to and along three town highways located in the Town of Royalton. Group A Town Highways include: Back River Rd, Rix Rd, Broad Brook Rd. Repairs are identified by individual sites as provided within included Damage Inventory Log sheets. TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION: Work to be performed under this project may vary from site to site and will generally include: site preparation, including removal of loose, woody and deleterious material; replacement of damaged culverts including precast concrete headwalls; machine placement and compaction of riprap, stone-fill, filter base and other granular material; road subbase and base material; final surface preparation of the road surface; and incidental items. The Contract shall be substantially completed on or before November 17, 2023, unless cold, snow, or other weather conditions require a winter shutdown, with OWNER concurrence.
