Info Contact: CervoL@freelibrary.org Maintenance of the Free Library of Philadelphia green roof 4,500 sq ft Aromatic Garden/Semi-intensive green roof system Service to cover the period of 10/1/23-9/30/24 - one upfront payment. Vendor to make a minimum of one visit per month. Additional visits may be necessary due to weather conditions. Watering as needed, especially in periods of drought. Removal of debris and dead vegetation, cutting back grasses and spend flowers. Sowing of additional plugs to repair patches of poor growth application of slow release fertilizer, such as Neutrocote in spring and fall. Weed. Apply pre-emergent. test media and fertilize (1 test and application). Check media depth, propogate open areas with cuttings or by separating and transplanting healthy plants. Drain inspection, cleaning. Inspect for system upsets such as large bare spots, perennially moist or sprongy areas and colonization of annual grass, moss or weeds Inspect/examine exposed parts of the waterproofing including flashings and counter-flashings.
