Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Troy, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project includes the following: removal of a buried 48-inch butterfly valve (approximately 30-feet in depth) and installation of a new 48-inch valve inside an existing buried valve vault chamber. A soils and groundwater investigation will be required as a dewatering plan and deep shaft excavation are anticipated for the removal of the existing 48-inch valve. The CMR firm will be asked to provide pre-construction phase services, construction phase services, and post construction phase services. It is anticipated the selected CMR shall be allowed to self-perform work, if specified procedures are followed. The City of Troy reserves the right to waive any submittal or submittal process irregularities which the City determines in its sole discretion to be in its favor, to reject any or all submittals for any reason determined to be appropriate in the sole discretion of the City, and to shortlist any firm meeting the City's needs as determined by the City at the City's sole discretion. The City of Troy, Ohio is in compliance with ADA.
