Renovation of a residential development in Salem, Oregon. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Roof removal and replacement at the Stiff-Jarman Building Contractor shall remove the existing roofing (one (1) layer) down to the plywood and appropriately dispose of all debris. Contractor shall purchase and install new roofing, consisting of, but not limited to, the following desired materials: Permanent safety anchors; CertainTeed Diamond Deck Underlayment on the steeper slope areas of the existing roof structure; CertainTeed Winter Guard Ice & Water Shield around eaves, valleys, and penetrations to protect against water damage; Hi temperature ice and water shield on the entire lower slope areas of the existing roof structure; High-grade adhesive to provide precision sealant for the proper sealing of the gables and eaves; A new ridge vent to allow rising hot air to release from the attic; Ridge high-profile hip and ridge necessary for a decorative ridge; All new regular black 26ga metal flashings; Add new counter flashing where needed (approximately 25 ft see attached pictures); 1/" primed roof cover board; 0.60 mil TPO membrane (mechanically fastened); TPO coated edge metal; and Pipe boots on 5 x 8 lower slope section.
