Reroof for the City of Clinton Public Works Building All Bidders must be licensed Contractors as required by the "Contractor's Licensing Act of 1976," and as passed by the 89th General Assembly of the State of Tennessee. Furthermore, the Contractor should have the necessary licensing classifications as listed in Rules of Tennessee Board for Licensing General Contractors-Chapter 0680-1. The Bidder's name, license number, expiration date, and the part of the classic faction which applies to the Bidder must be placed on the sealed envelope containing the executed Proposal Form; otherwise, the Bid will not be considered. Each Bid must be accompanied by a certified check or by a Bidder's Bond executed by the Bidder and a surety company licensed to do business in Tennessee, in the sum of five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid. The City of Clinton reserves the right to waive any informalities in or to reject any or all bids and to accept the bid deemed most favorable to the interest of the city. +/- 4,500 Square Foot Roof Covering Replacement to an existing building. The scope is to remove gutters, downspouts, roof covering, underlayrnents, and sheathing down to the existing conaete plank roof decking. Evaluate and replace concrete planks as necessary. Replace rotten, damaged and concealed materials. The intent is replace the roof covering back with architectural asphalt shingles with an alternate roof covering of a fully adhered single ply TPO membrane. Replace gutters and downspouts.
