Reference Number 0000329453 The Town of Apple Valley (Town) received a Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) grant and is seeking to retain the services of an experienced and qualified planning and engineering consultant (Consultant) to develop the Apple Valley Town Wide Complete Streets Action Plan. The selected firm will work closely with the Town's designated Project Manager and an appointed coalition of stakeholders. The Town is seeking to develop an Apple Valley Town Wide Complete Streets Action Plan (Plan) focusing on correcting the imbalance of access to opportunities in the area. The Plan will recommend improvements that will help the underserved populations save on transportation costs, eliminate transportation barriers, and increase equality and opportunity. Once complete, the Plan will provide a list of long and short-term solutions that will increase equity while promoting safety in disadvantaged neighborhoods. Recommended projects will be incorporated into the Town;'s annual budget, and the Plan will be used as a first-look document when grant opportunities arise.
