Interior and exterior modernization of two classroom building wings approximately 10,500 and 9,500 square feet constructed in 1948, 1953 and 1960. Classroom buildings consisting of sixteen various sized classrooms, restrooms and support spaces with work to include finishes, canopy repairs, casework, sinks, windows, roofing, HVAC with cooling, lighting and data. Expansion of the kindergarten and TK classrooms via addition of enclosed and partially covered exterior classrooms. New and upgraded kindergarten play area with new shade structure. Replace/upgrade campus-wide fire alarm system and repair/replace existing retaining wall at north property line. Development of interim housing for approximately nine portable classrooms (provided by district) with associated site and utility work. Includes any required ADA site upgrades on an approximately 6.31-acre District-owned site located at 261 Cuesta Drive, in San Luis Obispo, California. The San Luis Coastal Unified School District acting by and through its Board of Education will receive Sealed Fee Proposals and Statements of Qualifications (RFPQs) up to but no later than for the Measure C-22 Phase 1 Modernization Contract at Pacheco Elementary School. Prequalification applications are available on the PQ Bids website located at website. A proposal submitted by a Contractor that is not prequalified will not be accepted and will not be considered by the District. To be prequalified for the Contract, prequalification must be completed no later than 12:00 p.m., August 25, 2023. The District plansto construct the Work, which is a Modernization, on a District-owned site located at 261 Cuesta Drive, in San Luis Obispo, San Luis Obispo County, California, and the District is soliciting proposals for the construction of the Work.
