The work to be performed under this contract includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, and and other incidental work for: the improvement of a road leading from the Kiefer Treatment Plant EW-9 location up a canyon grade to a ridgetop, from where existing wells and future wells can be accessed. The road improvement shall contain a pumped water pipe and wire conduit under it to accommodate future expansion of the groundwater extraction system. The Project includes, without limitation, furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment and other incidental and appurtenant Work necessary to satisfactorily complete the Project, as more specifically described in specifications. This Work will be performed in strict conformance with the specifications, permits from regulatory agencies with jurisdiction, and applicable regulations. The quantity of Work to be performed and materials to be furnished are approximations only, being given as a basis for the comparison of Bids. Actual quantities of Work to be performed may vary at the discretion of the County.
