Renovation of a parking garage in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.
Wilkes-Barre City Central Parking Garage Elevator Lobbies, Stairwells and Tenant Space Renovations Project will have (4) individual contracts: General Construction, Electrical Construction, Plumbing Construction, and HVAC Construction. The Wilkes-Barre City Garages and Lot Automation Project will be a single contract. Bid Security, in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidders will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Labor & Material Payment Bond. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages, as set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on the project. The Wilkes-Barre City Parking Authority reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive informalities in the bidding. BIDS may be held by the Wilkes-Barre City Parking Authority for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the Opening of the Bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids, prior to awarding the Contract.
