As of October 13, 2023 tis project is awarded to Jefferson Township but the awarded amount is not a available. The MCCREADY ROAD DGLVR PROJECT includes the labor, materials, and equipment necessary to remove and replace two existing culverts on McCready Road with a structural plate aluminum box culvert. Proposals must be on the forms furnished by the Township Engineer. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price, made payable to Jefferson Township. Attention of Bidders is called to the requirements concerning the payment of not less than the prevailing wage and salary rate provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442 for the MCCREADY ROAD DGLVR PROJECT. Awarded bidder shall provide 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond and 100% Maintenance Bond for the project. Liquidated damages will apply at the rate of $500.00 per calendar day. Bids may be held by Jefferson Township for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding the contract.
